During the last week in August, the popular district of Sants refreshes the streets with its Fiesta Mayor. Passacaglias, Gospel, Jazz, Chocolatadas (chocolate-time gathering), Correfocs for children (fireworks lit on the street), Castellers (human towers), Sardanas and Piromusical; the Sants festivities have nothing to envy other areas. All this will take place amidst streets decorated by witty dedicated neighbours, according to specific themes. At the end of the festivities, on 3 September, the Barcelona Banda Municipal will play a concert at the Parc de l'Espanya industrial.
