This exhibition allows viewers to get in-depth knowledge of the Inca culture thanks to an exhibition which includes some of the most representative objects of the history of this pre-Columbian civilisation. The exhibition concludes with a space designed to evoke the past of the Andes with the exhibition of pieces belonging to cultures prior to the Incas. This way, visitors can follow the different groups of humans who settled in the Andes region since 3000 B.C. until the flourishing of the magnificent Inca culture in the 15th century A.D. Among the most surprising creations of this civilisation, we highlight the Qapaq Ñam, or Inca Trail, a network of paths that covered a huge area. The remains of this trail can still be seen today and it is possible to walk along the paths.
