©Natascha Sadr "I can't work like this", 2007
It seems as though Natascha Sadr is passing through the world of art, as her style is so eclectic that none of her works resemble each other. That is her main characteristic, a total lack of recognisable style. However, this Iranian-born, Berlin-based artist has a common and recurrent theme in her works, the notion of ‘representation’ and its significance and use in Western Culture. Therefore, her works aim to represent concepts as modern as ‘inflation’, ‘sustainability’ or ‘organic food', and they do so by means of installations which always avoid clichés.
