Located between Gracia and Nou Barris on the north-eastern part of Barcelona, Horta-Guinardo is the third biggest district of Barcelona, after Sants-Montjuic and Sarria-Sant Gervasi. This area is characterised by green spaces and uneven ground with many slopes and is home to De los Turons and Collserola Park -, the famous Horta Labyrinth and the Olympic Area. Its neighbourhoods are diverse with upmarket residential areas and others rather cluttered urban spaces.
Some of the best hospitals are located in Horta-Guinardo such as Sant Pau Hospital and the Ciudad Sanitaria de Vall d'Hebron.
