Casa Milà, popularly known as "La Pedrera", was built by Gaudi between 1906 and 1910. The building is on the famous Passeig de Gràcia where outstanding elements include the hexagonal paving stones designed by Gaudi, and the magnificent benches and street lamps that line both sides of the avenue. The stone facade of Casa Milà with its wrought iron balconies evokes the motion of the waves. The visit inside includes an exhibition on Gaudi's work, the roof space and the recreation of a period apartment.
